How long does NaturalStain last?
For Exterior Timber
NaturalStain™
Semi transparent, water based stain with outstanding durability. This fast-drying, low odour finish protects timber from the destructive effects of weathering and provides excellent tannin blocking and resistance to damage from mould and UV rays. Ideal for enhancing timber colour. changing the colour of treated pine or reviving faded timber. NaturalStain can be overcoated with UltraClear Exterior for a gloss or a satin finish, and for extra protection.
Where To UseOn all exterior timber including decking, weatherboards, window frames, shutters, garage doors, garden furniture, walkways and fences. Also suitable for use on HardiPlank™ and similar cement based and composite timber cladding. Gloss Level

No. of Coats Required
Two coats. Three coats will be required in extreme conditions such as full sun exposure, around pools and in humid areas, and may be required on porous timbers.
Note: The first coat on porous and rough sawn timbers will penetrate further and require more stain than the second coat. If using more than one can of NaturalStain ensure that you mix them together to ensure that the colour is consistent.

Allow 2–3 hours drying between coats at 25°C.

Drying/curing Time
